studio newsletters. *** VERY IMPORTANT ***
To get our updates the fastest, you need to be signed up for our texting service! The link is on our facebook page and Instructions are also sent out with all our newsletters. |
A note about the email signup.. It looks like it doesn't work after entering information but if you check your email in a couple minutes you should have a verification email. Newsletters are sent on one of the last days of each month. If you don't receive it, check either your spam or trash folder. You may need to add our email address to your contact list for it to be delivered correctly.

Special Events to note:
Check our current newsletter for important information. Newsletters are published on or before the 1st day of the next month with a few copies available in the studio to take home or to read. They are also emailed to any of our parents that have given us an email address. We don't generally pass them out to students as they tend to get left all over the studio and crumpled up in bags. Links are above if you prefer to read/print online.
Student Aid Fundraisers: These fundraisers are very different! These are designed to help our students pay fees which they may not be able to afford otherwise! Check out the button above for all the details! All registered SKDS students are eligible to participate! Check the newsletter for the dates.
Dance Teams: Interested in being on a team? Ask us what classes would be the best for your student for future team placement. Current team members must take summer classes and attend tryouts to be considered for a spot on a team. New students with sufficient dance background will be considered as well but must attend tryouts and are highly encouraged to take summer classes to experience team life. Check out the dance team link above for all the info!
Studio closings: Any studio closings due to weather or other events, will be announced through our texting service (see information above), on our facebook page, on cinewsnow.com/closings and on WEEK-TV & WHOI-TV. Announcements will be made no later than 4:00 pm. Please check all these resources before contacting our teachers.
Mark your calendars: (check the newsletter and our white board for more details)
- Costume balances due on April 10th.
- Costumes start being handed out on April 13th. Must be paid in full.
- Check your tights or buy new ones by April 15th.
- Summer class registration opens April 20th.
- ALL OUTSTANDING BALANCES MUST BE PAID BY MAY 1ST FOR STUDENTS TO BE ABLE TO BE IN THE RECITAL!!
- Recital Picture Day: Saturday, May 2nd.
- Full Dress Rehearsal: Friday, May 8th at 6:00. EPCHS auditorium.
- Recital: Saturday, May 9th at 6:00. EPCHS auditorium.
- Semester break: May 10 - May 31.
- Summer classes begin on June 1st.
Our calendar is always kept up to date with all of our activities. Just hover over the news link above and click on calendar. If you have google calendar, you can also link your calendar with ours so you automatically have our events on your own calendar.
Parking: Our new location will have striped parking spaces around the building soon. You can also park in the grassy area to the left of the driveway and in the gravel area towards the end of the building. DO NOT PARK IN OR BLOCK THE NEIGHBOR'S DRIVE AS HE HAS POSTED.
Our texting service is THE BEST WAY to get very important information, quickly on an as needed basis. We use it for studio closings, watch weeks and other very important information but will not bombard you with texts! We add parents when we get their information but if you are not getting texts, sign up information is on our information page.
