WE HAVE MOVED!
Our studio is now located at 215 Taylor street, Unit 4. It's only about 2 minutes from our old location and you can see it from the city parking lot! From our old location, exit left out of the parking lot onto Washington street. Go straight through the lights on Cole street. Turn left at the light on Springfield Road. Turn left at the post office onto Taylor street. It's the big blue building on the right side and we are in Unit #4! There's a drop box to the left of our door and our door has a very large DANCE on it!
Studio hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:00-8:00 as well as Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00. Hours are based on when we have someone attending the front desk and can vary a little from these posted hours. Our TeamReach service for parents and current students, Facebook messenger or email are the best methods of reaching us. Messages received after 9:00pm or before 9:00am will likely not be answered immediately. During class time, please contact us by FB Messenger or by TeamReach as our phone number is Sara's personal number and she is not able to answer while she's teaching.

When you come to class:

*Ballet shoes must be actual ballet shoes and not the slipper type shoes.
*Tumbling shoes are only needed for recital. Students will tumble in their bare feet for class or socks with grippers in the winter.
*Hip Hop students wear clean tennis shoes that are not worn outside or jazz shoes if they already have them.
*We order dance shoes about 3-4 times a year: first week of summer classes, first week of fall classes, before Christmas break and early in the spring before recital and competition. Be on the lookout for order dates in our newsletter, on the online calendar and on the white board in the studio.

A full dress dance recital will be held around mid May after the fall session so students can show off everything they have learned during the year. Students love this part! Pictures will be scheduled to be taken during a week prior to recital so costumes are nice and clean. More details will come as the dates get closer. We hold our recitals at East Peoria Community High School in the auditorium. Pictures are usually taken at the studio.
There will be a watch week twice a year during the school year and at the end of the summer session so parents can come into class and see what is being learned. We have found that children can concentrate much easier when parents aren't in the dance room during classes. Check the calendar, white board or newsletter for exact dates. DO NOT bring food or drinks in with you to the dance areas. Only water in a closed bottle is allowed past the waiting area. Seating is very limited so we are having to limit guests to 1 person per family per watch week (please leave extra siblings at home if possible). Also, please keep conversation to a minimum. Students have trouble focusing and teachers have trouble teaching with a lot of excess talking in the room. We do have a waiting room where parents are welcome to sit and listen to classes. Team parents (including team training classes): you may watch the last hour of their team class. Hip hop team parents may watch the whole practice since it's only an hour. Extra team practices are not included in watch weeks. Thank you!
A note about parking: There will be striped spaces along the building soon for short term parking or you can park along the left side of the driveway or down farther in the gravel area. If you are staying in the waiting room during classes, please park farther down so space is available for quick drop offs/pick ups. Thank you.
All studio closing announcements will be sent by our texting service, posted on our facebook page as well as on ciproud.com (under weather) and will run on WEEK-TV and HOI-19. Please check all these resources before texting/calling our teachers. Announcements will be posted no later than 90 minutes before the first classes should start for the day. Cancelled/missed classes will not be refunded. If too many are missed because we've had to cancel for the same class, makeup classes will likely be scheduled when possible.
